ATOMIC29 and PC FAB Open
Online Voting for 2001's ATOMIC GIANTS
Los Altos, California - November 1, 2001 - ATOMIC29 and PC FAB magazine announced
today that the pursuit for the 2001 ATOMIC GIANTS has
begun. Starting November 1, a secure on-line polling
place will provide a venue to cast votes for the 10
most influential persons in the PCB industry. The winners
of this prestigious award will be announced in March
2002.
PC FAB, a CMP Publication, compiled the list of nominees
- the industry leaders who had the largest impact on
the PCB industry in 2001. The public can visit the Web
sites of PC FAB (www.pcfab.com) or ATOMIC29 (www.ATOMIC29.com)
and cast their votes for up to 10 ATOMIC GIANT nominees.
A write-in option is also available. The 10 ATOMIC GIANTS
that have the most votes at the end of the 60-day voting
period will be the winners.
"There is a select group of individuals that have
made a distinctive mark on our industry. We are honored
to have the opportunity to recognize their contributions
and celebrate their achievements," said ATOMIC29
Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
"As we are all aware, this has tough year. As such,
this a great opportunity for us to distinguish those
who have exhibited the resilience and dedication that
makes us proud to be a part of the PCB industry."
"The ATOMIC GIANTS is the only leadership award
that is selected by the PCB industry," said PC
FAB editor-in-chief Mike Buetow. "The open balloting
process adds validity to the process - and the prominence
to the winners." Winners will be profiled in upcoming
issues of PC FAB.
Perkolate (www.perkolate.com) a San Francisco, CA-based
web development company, is designing the secure on-line
polling place using advanced Web technology to ensure
a fair and accurate vote.
